St Ninian’s Manse is supposedly Leith’s oldest building.

Through the @scottishhistoricbuildingstrust it’s been thoughtfully brought back to life and maintained.

The land was granted to the church in the 12th century and this beautiful building has worn many hats since.

A ludicrously old school experience on Young Street - the iconic Oxford Bar wouldn’t be my first thought for a raucous Saturday night, but then that’s not exactly the point… it feels like the world slows down on arrival. A real must visit for a sense of how pubs used to be.

A beautiful pub with one of the best menus in the game @hughbrown + the fabulous @lewismclaughlinmusic - Nobles by Bellfield is pub perfection.

It’s right next to ‘The Shore’ tram stop so super easy once the trams are up and running again 🤞 and well worth supporting while they aren’t!

Coburg House Open Studios was on all weekend. So Sunday afternoon maybe not the time to shout about it! Whoops….

I had a blast mind you. It’s very fun to meet the people behind the art and understand how they create in this lovely space.

The ‘in house’ shop is open every weekend and I’d really recommend heading along next time there’s an Open Studio…

A New Town spot built for sport @thebunkeratollies has so much to offer. I’ve been to some great private parties down here, but hadn’t quite appreciate the sporty glow up.

There’s nowhere like it for Real Ale. Family run and fabulously authentic, @staggsbar is a vintage boozer that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. This Musselburgh institution lived up to its reputation. I don’t typically reach for the real ale, but this was a genuinely memorable pint.
