By booking and participating in a walking tour operated by A Day in Edinburgh, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made in advance unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable.
-
No refunds will be provided for no-shows.

3. Health, Fitness, and Accessibility
-
Walking tours require a reasonable level of fitness.

Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical ability to participate.

Please inform your guide in advance of any medical conditions, mobility issues, or special requirements.

Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.

5. Safety and Assumption of Risk

Walking tours take place in public spaces and may involve uneven surfaces, traffic, crowds, and weather-related risks.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

A Day in Edinburgh, its guides, employees, and affiliates are not liable for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

6. Children and Minors

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the child’s behavior and safety.

7. Weather Conditions

Tours operate in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe.

No refunds will be issued for discomfort due to weather unless the tour is canceled by A Day in Edinburgh.

8. Changes to the Tour

Routes, duration, and content of the tour may change due to local conditions, closures, or unforeseen circumstances.

Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund.

9. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A Day in Edinburgh shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the tour.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and/or participating in the tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
